Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• LDC/JSA and most DEO posts: 12th standard or equivalent passed from a recognised board or university.
• DEO / DEO Grade A in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Staff Selection Commission and Ministry of Culture: 12th standard in the Science stream with Mathematics.
• Students who have appeared in 12th can apply, but must hold the qualification by 07-10-2026.

Age Limit

• Age is calculated as on 01-08-2026: 18–27 years (born between 02-08-1999 and 01-08-2008).
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation. OBC: 3 years. PwBD: 10 years (OBC 13, SC/ST 15).
• Ex-servicemen: 3 years after deducting military service.
• Central Government civilian employees with 3 years' service: up to 40 years (SC/ST up to 45).
• Widows, divorced women and judicially separated women who have not remarried: up to 35 years (SC/ST up to 40).

Application Fee

Salary / Pay Scale

LDC/JSA: Pay Level-2 (₹19,900–63,200). DEO: Pay Level-4 (₹25,500–81,100) and Level-5 (₹29,200–92,300). DEO Grade A: Pay Level-4 (₹25,500–81,100).

Selection Process

1. Tier-I – Computer Based Examination
2. Tier-II – Computer Based Examination
3. Posts are allotted based on merit and the candidate's post preferences
