Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has launched the ‘Khelo Bharat: From Manufacturing to Podium Finish Quiz’ on MY Bharat portal today, 4 November 2026. The quiz aims to enhance public awareness of the Government of India’s initiatives to strengthen the country’s sports ecosystem, promote domestic sports goods manufacturing and celebrate India’s participation and achievements at the Asian Games 2026 and Asian Para Games 2026.

The quiz will be open until 20 November 2026 and is designed to engage citizens, students, youth, professionals and sports enthusiasts in learning about India’s growing sporting ecosystem, from manufacturing and innovation to international sporting excellence.

The quiz highlights the Khelo India Sports Goods Manufacturing Scheme, with an outlay of Rs 1,856.67 crore, aimed at strengthening India's domestic sports goods manufacturing ecosystem. Its two components – Incentives and Interventions – cover investment support, manufacturing zones, existing clusters, production incentives, certification and testing, research, skill development, start-ups, and branding and outreach. These measures seek to promote domestic manufacturing, generate employment, enhance exports and strengthen the global competitiveness of Indian sports goods manufacturers.

The quiz also covers India's participation in the 20th Asian Games 2026 and the 5th Asian Para Games 2026, held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. India fielded 501 athletes across 36 disciplines and 255 events at the Asian Games, including 65 Khelo India athletes, 203 TOPS-supported athletes and 310 debutants. At the Asian Para Games, India participated with 168 athletes across 11 disciplines and 177 events, including 33 Khelo India athletes, 47 TOPS athletes, six athletes from National Centres of Excellence and 61 debutants. The contingents represented 31 States and UTs at the Asian Games and 25 at the Asian Para Games.

Through these themes, the quiz seeks to connect the development of a robust domestic sports manufacturing ecosystem with India’s growing presence in international sporting competitions. It also highlights the role of Khelo India in promoting grassroots participation, identifying and nurturing sporting talent, strengthening sports infrastructure and creating pathways for athletes to progress towards sporting excellence.

The quiz is open to all Indian citizens, irrespective of age, with no specific gender, educational qualification or State-based eligibility restrictions. Participants will have 15 minutes to answer 20 questions. They are encouraged to go through the reference material available on the MY Bharat portal before attempting the quiz.

The top 100 participants, based on quiz results, will receive Fit India Merchandise. In case of a tie, a computer based lottery system will be used . Participants will be able to view the correct answers after completing the quiz.

The quiz is available on the MY Bharat portal at: https://mybharat.gov.in/quizzes/yuva/detail/F4bPGADIB1E_OFqlCIFJWA/

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports invites citizens, students, youth and sports enthusiasts across the country to participate in the quiz and deepen their understanding of India’s initiatives to strengthen sports manufacturing, nurture sporting talent and advance the country’s sporting ambitions.
