Exim Bank BDO eligibility 2026 is based on educational qualification, academic marks, and relevant post-qualification work experience, along with the prescribed age limit.

  • Postgraduate in Marketing/Finance, preferably MBA with specialization in Finance or Marketing.
  • The Postgraduation must be of a minimum 2-year full-time duration from a recognised University/Institution.
  • Minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in both Graduation and Post-Graduation.

The compensation for the post of Business Development Officer is Rs. 14.68 lakh per annum, with annual increments for candidates having two years of work experience. The compensation structure comprises fixed and variable components in the ratio of 80:20. The compensation may increase as per the Bank's pay matrix for candidates having more work experience.

Age Limit

  • The candidate should not be more than 35 years of age as on August 31, 2026. Reservations in the upper age limit are applicable as per prevailing Government of India (GoI) guidelines; specific category-wise age relaxation figures are not specified in the notification.
