The list has come a little more than three months after the CBRT. The answer key was published three days after the exam, on 8 July 2026, and the merit list has followed now.
What Does the GPSSB Laboratory Technician Merit List Contain?
GPSSB has published one combined list. It works as the provisional merit list and also identifies the candidates called for document verification. This official list has 220 candidates in all.
Remember these two points:
- It is provisional. Your status may still change once your documents have been verified.
- It is not the final selection. A result notice does not necessarily mean final selection. The final list will be released only after the next stage is completed.

How to Check GPSSB Laboratory Technician Result 2026
The result has been released as a PDF. Follow these steps to check if your roll number is on it:
- Visit the official GPSSB website, gpssb.gujarat.gov.in, or use the direct result link given in the Important Links table below.
- Look for the notice titled Laboratory Technician, Advt. No. 04/2026-27, Provisional Merit List cum DV List.
- Open the PDF.
- Press Ctrl+F (or use the find feature on your phone) and type your roll number.
- If your roll number appears, you are included in the provisional list of 220 candidates.
- Download the PDF and keep a printout ready for the document verification stage.

GPSSB Laboratory Technician Cut Off 2026
Cut-off marks are not part of the notice we checked. If GPSSB publishes a category-wise cut off, it will be updated on the official website, so keep checking gpssb.gujarat.gov.in for a separate cut-off or scorecard notice.
Document Verification: The Next Step
GPSSB has said that a separate official notice will be issued for document verification. That notice will carry the DV date, venue and list of documents, which will be updated on the official website.
Until then, you can:
- Keep a copy of your online application form along with the merit list PDF.
- Gather the certificates you used while applying, so that you are not in a hurry when the DV notice is released.
- Check the official website and our result page regularly so that you do not miss the DV schedule.
Do not make travel or other plans based on guesswork. Wait for the official DV notice and follow only the documents list mentioned in it.
What If Your Name Is Not in the List
This provisional list has only 220 candidates. If your roll number is missing, search the PDF again with your exact roll number. If it still does not show up, you have not been shortlisted for document verification in this list.
