Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2026 Stray Round Seat Allotment Result Out – Download MBBS & BDS PDF and Allotment Order

The Tamil Nadu Selection Committee has published provisional allotment lists for the stray vacancy round of MBBS and BDS counselling for the academic session 2026–27.

The official website lists the following results dated 22 October 2026:

• Government Quota, including the applicable 92.5% quota seats.
• Management Quota, including seats covered by the relevant counselling provisions.
• 7.5% special reservation for eligible Tamil Nadu government school students.

Candidates who participated in the applicable counselling category can download the corresponding PDF and search for their application number or general rank.

The lists are provisional. Candidates must complete the prescribed allotment-order download, fee payment and physical reporting procedures to secure admission.

The Selection Committee's stray vacancy counselling schedule specifies that only eligible candidates who are not holding an MBBS or BDS seat under the All India Quota or State Quota can participate.

The following candidates are not eligible:

• Candidates who have already joined MBBS or BDS seats through All India Quota or State Quota counselling.
• Candidates holding seats under Government, Management or NRI quotas covered by the stated restrictions.
• Candidates who received a seat in Tamil Nadu State Counselling Round 3 but failed to join it.

Eligibility also depends on the applicable merit list, candidate category, registration status and counselling instructions.

What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Join the Stray Round Seat?

The Selection Committee has notified penalties for candidates who receive stray vacancy allotments but fail to join or discontinue their allotted courses.

Under the applicable general counselling rules, candidates may lose their security deposit, additional security deposit and tuition fee, and may be required to pay the prescribed discontinuation fee.

The Selection Committee also specifies that affected candidates will not be allowed to participate in Tamil Nadu UG medical counselling for the subsequent one academic year.
