The Special Campaign is a focused drive across the Government of India aimed at minimizing pendency and institutionalizing Swachhata as a core organizational value. This time-bound initiative focuses on enhancing workplace management through intensive cleanliness drives, space optimization via scrap disposal, and streamlined records management. Additionally, it strengthens administrative efficiency by prioritizing the prompt redressal of public grievances, conducting file review and weeding drives (both physical and electronic), and systematically liquidating pending parliamentary assurances, VIP references, and inter-ministerial consultations. The 6th edition of the Special Campaign was held from 02.10.2026 to 31.10.2026. In line with the objectives of the Campaign, Ministry of Culture, along with its Attached, Subordinate, and Autonomous Organizations embraced the campaign with enthusiasm and a structured plan.
The ongoing campaign yielded significant results across key areas, demonstrating a strong commitment to efficient governance with a goal to create clean, functional, and citizen-centric office spaces that embody the spirit of good governance.
