In line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Sahkar se Samriddhi’ and under the leadership of Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah, several significant initiatives are being undertaken to make the country’s cooperative sector stronger, modern and self-reliant. Special emphasis is being laid on making cooperative institutions an effective vehicle for strengthening the rural economy and enhancing farmers’ prosperity, while leveraging dairy cooperatives to augment the income and economic participation of livestock rearers, milk producers and, in particular, women members. In furtherance of these efforts, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah will participate as the Chief Guest at the Gopalak Sammelan at Dussehra Maidan in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on October 3, 2026, and inaugurate the State-Level Exhibition on Nyaya Sanhita. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr. Mohan Yadav will also be present on the occasion.

At the beginning of the programme, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah will inaugurate the State-Level Exhibition on Nyaya Sanhita. He will thereafter visit the exhibition sections showcasing the achievements of the Madhya Pradesh Police in the implementation of the new criminal laws.

During the programme, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be exchanged between KRIBHCO and the Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board for developing an urban forest in Bhopal under the ‘Morvan Project’. Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah will also lay the foundation stones and inaugurate various important projects related to the dairy and cooperative sectors and distribute benefits to beneficiaries.

On the occasion, Shri Amit Shah will digitally lay the foundation stone for a Milk Processing Plant with a capacity of 3 lakh litres per day in Ujjain, to be established at a cost of ₹255 crore. He will also inaugurate a Product Dairy Plant in Bhopal, built at a cost of ₹16.5 crore, with a capacity of 40,000 litres per day.

The Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation will also inaugurate a state-of-the-art State-Level Central Laboratory in Bhopal, constructed at a cost of ₹12.42 crore. In addition, the strengthening works of the Mini Dairy Plant in Shivpuri, undertaken at a cost of ₹6.5 crore, will be digitally inaugurated. These projects constitute important initiatives towards strengthening milk-processing capacity and dairy-sector infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh.

During the programme, bonus will be distributed to members of the Bhopal and Indore Milk Unions through a single click. Financial assistance will also be provided to Gaushalas through a single click. Members of Dairy Cooperative Societies will be felicitated, and a total dividend of ₹15.10 crore will be distributed among the members.

Highlighting the role of women livestock rearers in the dairy cooperative ecosystem, ‘Gopalak Didis’ will be felicitated during the Gopalak Sammelan. In addition, two sanction letters under the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana will also be distributed.
