The journey of a young Scheduled Caste student Aarav Mane (name changed) represents how timely educational assistance can help talented students overcome financial and geographical barriers, access global learning opportunities and pursue their professional aspirations.

The National Overseas Scholarship has not only enabled him to achieve a significant academic milestone but has also brought pride and new possibilities to his family and rural community. The Scheme emerged as a crucial source of support in his educational journey.

Coming from a rural farming family with limited financial resources, pursuing higher education abroad was a distant dream for 26-year-old Aarav Mane. Despite financial constraints and limited exposure to international educational opportunities, he remained determined to build a career in Artificial Intelligence and contribute to technological innovation.

Belonging to a farming community, Aarav's family faced considerable financial limitations. His parents worked hard to support his educational aspirations, but the cost of pursuing an international degree presented a significant challenge.

Limited access to guidance and information about overseas education further complicated his journey. During his studies in Australia, increasing university tuition fees in the later semesters added to the financial burden. Managing accommodation, living expenses, educational resources and academic responsibilities simultaneously became increasingly difficult for his family. Despite these challenges, Aarav remained committed to his goal of becoming an Artificial Intelligence Engineer.

Through the National Overseas Scholarship, he received financial assistance towards tuition fees, living expenses and other related educational costs for the period 2024–2026. This support enabled him to pursue a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Monash University, Australia, without placing an unsustainable financial burden on his family.

Financial assistance covering tuition fees, living expenses and related educational costs for the period 2024–2026 was provided under the National Overseas Scholarship Scheme.

The scheme provided the opportunity to access quality international education at Monash University, Australia, gain global exposure, and develop advanced technical skills in Artificial Intelligence.

By overcoming financial and geographical barriers, Aarav has successfully completed his Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Monash University and is working towards establishing his professional career in the technology sector. He now aspires to work as an AI Engineer in India, develop impactful AI-driven solutions and contribute to the country's growing capabilities in Artificial Intelligence and technological innovation.

The scholarship provided him with an opportunity to access quality international education, gain global exposure and develop advanced technical skills in Artificial Intelligence. It also strengthened his professional confidence and broadened his understanding of emerging technologies and their potential applications.
