The Ministry of Women and Child Development and its autonomous and statutory bodies have set targets and implementation plans for Special Campaign 6.0. The initiative will run between 2nd and 31st October 2026 to improve cleanliness and clear outstanding matters, drawing on campaigns held over the previous 5 years.
On 17.10.2026, the National e-Governance Division ran a practical AI workshop for Ministry officials serving at Under Secretary level and above. This followed the campaign's guidance on adopting good practices. About 70% of the sessions involved hands-on work with AI applications. The programme was attended by 42 officers, including the Secretary, Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretaries and other senior personnel. Subjects included:
