Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) brought together young people for the fifth week of its 100 Weeks Campaign under Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Abhiyan. Held on 17 October 2026, the programme combined yoga and meditation for drug-free youth with neighbourhood youth parliament discussions. With support from spiritual groups, universities and industry associations, activities reached 36 states and Union Territories. Across 1,174 events, 3,43,288 young people and other citizens took part.
Participants joined yoga and mindfulness sessions, took the Nasha Mukt Yuva pledge and attended discussions about avoiding substance misuse. The activities also encouraged healthier habits and attention to physical and mental wellbeing. Neighbourhood Youth Parliament meetings offered space for young people to discuss their role in creating a drug-free India.
Heartfulness, Project Point, CIPU, ASSOCHAM, FICCI, CII and Brahma Kumaris were among the partners contributing to the initiative. Their involvement brought together spiritual organisations, industry bodies and other groups to engage communities in awareness and healthier lifestyle choices.
Organisers recorded 3,380 activities during the campaign, alongside 3,43,288 pledges. These commitments reflect participation by young people and citizens in efforts to discourage substance abuse and spread awareness within their communities.
Support from public representatives and partner institutions helped the programme reach communities across the participating states and Union Territories. MY Bharat's 100 Weeks Campaign seeks to sustain youth involvement in the goal of Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat.
