The conference will bring together senior government officials and practitioners from across the country to deliberate on e-Governance reforms, digital transformation, innovation and the adoption of effective governance practices.

Guided by the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to ensure that governance reforms reach every part of the country, DARPG has taken these national conferences beyond New Delhi. Under the leadership of Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, these conferences have been organised across the length and breadth of the country, covering diverse geographical regions and bringing governance reforms closer to the States and citizens.

The inaugural session will include addresses by Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh; Smt. Nivedita Shukla Verma, Secretary, DARPG, Government of India, and Shri Kamlesh Kumar Pant, Chief Secretary, Government of Himachal Pradesh.

The conference will feature presentations on best practices adopted by the Government of Himachal Pradesh and successful initiatives recognised under the National Awards for e-Governance. The deliberations will highlight the role of digital technologies, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in improving public service delivery, strengthening administrative efficiency and making governance more citizen-centric.

The first day of the conference will feature a dedicated session on the best practices of Himachal Pradesh, covering initiatives such as Him Parivar, Sukh Aashraya, Vidya Samiksha Kendra, Green Himachal and the Rajiv Gandhi Van Samvardhan Yojana.

The conference will also showcase national-level e-Governance initiatives, including AgriStack, e-Jagriti, AI-enabled Clinical Decision Support System in the eSanjeevani telemedicine service, the Multi Hazard Early Warning Decision Support System and iGOT Karmayogi. Presentations will also cover initiatives in healthcare, judicial administration, digital travel services and public service delivery at the state, district and grassroots levels.

On the second day, the sessions will focus on cybersecurity, best e-Governance practices, replication of successful initiatives, data analytics and citizen-centric digital solutions. Presentations will include initiatives relating to cybersecurity frameworks, digital banking, animal disease management, blood bag traceability, education, urban governance and the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

The conference will provide a platform for participating states, districts and government organisations to share experiences, exchange ideas and explore opportunities to replicate successful initiatives. It will contribute to strengthening collaborative efforts towards responsive, transparent, efficient and technology-enabled governance.

The conference will conclude with a valedictory session featuring addresses by the Chief Secretary, Government of Himachal Pradesh, and Smt. Nivedita Shukla Verma, Secretary, DARPG.
