The Department of Military Affairs is running Special Campaign 6 from October 02 to 31, 2026. Its workplace programme combines cleaning with better use of space, removal of redundant records, scrap disposal and improvements to available surroundings.
In the opening two weeks, the department reviewed more than 2.46 lakh files. Cleaning activities covered 3,553 sites, while 158 rules were examined and simplified. Scrap disposal had generated ₹50.60 lakh by the reported stage of the campaign.
Officials are checking progress daily against the campaign’s targets. Alongside physical upkeep, the work focuses on reducing outstanding public grievances and references from Parliament members, the Prime Minister’s Office and State Governments. Defence forces and establishments across the country are taking part.
